It was a great homecoming for the De Soto Pirates. They had not played a true home game since floods ravaged their field in 2016. On Friday night they hosted and roasted North Crawford.
De Soto got off to a quick start. Just minutes into the game Kaden Pedretti connected with Trevor Rebhahn who would run it 15 yards after the catch for the Pirates first touchdown.
Two minutes later Pedretti found Kyle Kuhnke on a deep touchdown pass. That would extend their lead to 16-0. Just moments later Pedretti was at it again. This time he found Jake Sikora in the end zone.
Kaden Pedretti ended up throwing for 5 touchdowns and leading the Pirates to a 56-6 win.
