Holmen boy named 2019 CMN National Champion

2015-2016 Children’s Miracle Network Hospital Hero Logan Kelm is taking his smile and engaging personality to the national stage.

Recently Kelm was honored by being named a 2019 National Champion for the CMN hospitals. On Friday, Kelm arrived to school in style. A limo was welcomed by a tunnel of students and community members for Kelm. Kelm was then recognized by the school and his classmates for his award at an assembly.

As a national champion, Kelm will travel the country with his family advocating for the charitable needs or the CMN hospitals, “The word of him being the champion is super super important for us. CMN has been a huge part of our lives since Logan was little so to be able to give back to them in a way that is in the national level is awesome” said Logan’s mother Andrea.

The Holmen Police Department provided the escort and they say they are honored to have been asked to be a part of this day, “I think its special for him I mean he is going through a lot him and his family for them to be honored like this to travel the nation to support the Children’s Miracle Network and raise donations and awareness and for us to be a part of it is pretty special” said police chief Shane Collins.

Logan says he has never ridden in a regular limo before, “I’ve rode in a limo bus before, it was a huge difference from a limo bus.”

The Kelm’s just returned from Salt Lake City and will travel to Orlando in March for Children’s Miracle Network week.
