La Crosse, Wis. (WXOW) – The All Abilities Trane Park project received a hefty donation Monday afternoon.
Mayo Clinic Health System presented a check for $125,000, one of the largest donations to date for the $6 million project. Mayo’s Regional Vice President Paul Mueller said Trane Park’s approach to accommodating individuals with cognitive, physical or sensory challenges aligns perfectly with their goals as health care professionals.
“Mayo Clinic Health System is interested in innovations and cutting edge means of improving the health of people,” Mueller said. “Investing in this park is a means of doing that.”
Officials broke ground for All Abilities Trane Park in October of 2018.
