Brittany Lake joined the News 19 Team in October 2012 as a member of floor crew, where she worked as a Production Assistant for the evening newscasts. She quickly moved into the newsroom, with brief stints as the Morning Producer, Weekend Producer, Weekend Reporter, Weekend Anchor and since 2015 as Daybreak Co-Anchor.
Brittany grew up in Los Angeles, California in the San Fernando Valley. She attended Loyola Marymount University, majoring in Communications. She moved to Onalaska in 2011 and is happy to now call the Coulee Region home.
She enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and her two dogs, Winnie and Mya. Brittany and her husband are happy to announce the birth of their first child. Isla (pronounced eye-la) Jacqueline was born on September 16, 2018 at 5 lb 4 oz 18 inches.
Brittany has become involved in the community in a variety of ways. She is on the Steering Committee for the Children’s Miracle Network, the Marketing Advisory Committee for the Family & Children’s Center, and is a member of the Guardian Angels for FCC.
Although she will always be a Valley Girl at heart, she has found the La Crosse area a perfect home away from home. In fact, Brittany has some surprising roots here in Wisconsin. Her third-great grandparents from Switzerland are founding members of the town of New Glarus. Cheers!
