News 19 Receives WPHA Excellence in Public Health Media Award

La Crosse, Wis. (WXOW) – The Wisconsin Public Health Association has named WXOW News 19 the recipient of the “2019 Excellence in Public Health Media Award”.

The Alliance to HEAL nominated News 19’s news director, Sean Dwyer, for the in-depth reporting News 19 is pursuing, as partners across the Coulee Region work toward ending opioid addiction.
