GREEN BAY (WXOW) — The Green Bay Packers announced today the date for Packers Family Night at Lambeau Field.
The Packers organization said in a press release, the popular Family Night would take place Aug. 2.
In its 19th year, ‘Family Night’ will serve as the introduction of the 2019 Green Bay Packers via a “full practice,” in-person to a Lambeau Field crowd and on television to a state-wide audience.
Doors for the event will open at 5:30 p.m., and the team will be introduced on the field at 7:30 p.m.
“The evening remains family-focused and will feature a game-like atmosphere with use of the video boards . . . as well as gameday music and a fireworks show at the end of the night,” the Packers said.
$10 tickets go on sale Tuesday, July 2, at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available on Ticketmaster.com. and in person at the Packers’ ticket office.
The popular “Jerseys Off Our Backs” promotion will return with Packers jerseys – all of which will have been worn by Packers players in the just-completed practice – given away in a random drawing.
The night will conclude with a laser show, the Packers said.
Fans not attending will be able to watch the event on WXOW.
