Brock in 23rd, Erickson in 25th after day one of state golf

Madison, Wisc. (WXOW)- Holmen high school returned as a team to the state golf tournament for the first time in five seasons. In addition, Sparta’s Austin Erickson qualified as an individual.

The division one qualifiers teed off at 7 am on Monday at University Ridge golf course for day one of the state tournament.

Holmen’s Carson Brock finished with a team best score of a 76 and tied for 23rd. Sparta’s Austin Erickson finished with a 77 and tied for 25th overall.

Holmen as a team is in 9th place with 322 points.
