Warren Sears

After spending 22 years in my home state of Kansas, I am really excited to start my career in the Coulee region!

Since I was a youngster I can remember being absolutely fascinated with the weather, especially clouds and severe storms.

I grew up a Jayhawk super fan so the decision to go the University of Kansas was an easy one. I graduated with an Atmospheric Science degree and journalism minor from KU, Rock Chalk!

Aside from geeking out over weather, I love to be outside. Anything from hiking and biking to white water rafting and skiing.  My family, friends and dog Luna are also a very big part of my life and I love spending time with them. I also enjoy traveling and experiencing new places. That’s why I’m very excited to explore all La Crosse has to offer, especially local cuisine.

If you have any local restaurant suggestions for me, or any other questions/suggestions, you can contact me at wsears@wxow.com.
