Winona Health Introduces SmartExam

WINONA, Minn. (WXOW) – Winona Health is celebrating 125 years of service, and now, they’re making patients aware of new services via their smartphone, tablet, or computer.

It’s called SmartExam. Patients answer questions through an online interview about their symptoms, medication, and health history.

The information is then reviewed by a healthcare provider in a matter of minutes, which will then provide a diagnosis and treatment plan.

“An important element of SmartExam is that the patient is only charged if they receive a diagnosis and treatment plan, So it’s a great option for even your care, so entering the questions, answering them and then if it’s not appropriate for a SmartExam, the patient will be notified that they should come in and get care,” Health and Wellness Director, Jessica Remington said.
