Wisconsin diary farm breakfast are a tradition nearly 50 years in the making

(WXOW) – June Dairy Days is a way for Wisconsinites to celebrate America’s Dairyland. Wisconsin is home to 25 percent of the nation’s total dairy farms, and 95 percent of Wisconsin’s dairy farms are family owned.

To celebrate, Wisconsinites have attended several farm breakfasts around the state. Farm breakfasts are family-friendly, educational events that offer attendees various opportunities to taste home-cooked food made from Wisconsin-made dairy products while learning about farm animals, dairy farms, and the farmers that keep them running.

In La Crosse County located in the town of Bangor, there will be a farm breakfast held. The menu will feature Mindoro Lions Pancakes, Craig’s Meats Sausage, Westby Cheese Curds and Yogurt, eggs with cheese, coffee, milk, and Culver’s Frozen Custard.
