De Soto, Wis. (WXOW)  De Soto will try to continue one of the more remarkable streaks in the area.
They’ve qualified for the playoffs 23 seasons in a row.
They’re poised to make it 24 straight this season.
Head coach Ev wick returns 12 starters, six on each side of the ball.
They’re also back at “The Pit” full time, their home field and practice field as well.
That has already had a positive impact.
But it’s the long playoff streak that’s a major source of pride.

“We have a good opportunity to keep our playoff streak alive. We get asked that quite often and it’s a source of pride our kids have. They don’t want to be the ones to let that go by the wayside. They’re going to work to get to that spot again,” Wick said.
“Our offense is looking really good. We have a bunch of skill players who know what they’re doing and the line has been showing off pretty well. I’m really excited for the offense,” said quarterback/cornerback Kaden Pedretti.

De Soto was 6-4 last season and will open this season at home against Wonewoc/Weston.
