LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – A La Crosse man out on bond faces new charges.
Ronald Crosby, Jr. was arrested last Wednesday on drug charges.
La Crosse Police officers responding to a domestic violence complaint found Crosby in a vehicle with two other people. When the vehicle was stopped and searched, they found, marijuana, heroin, and a loaded handgun, all violations of Crosby’s bond conditions.
During a court appearance Monday afternoon in a La Crosse County courtroom, Judge Gloria Doyle ordered him held on a $5,000 cash bond.
He’s already facing charges for sexually assaulting a child earlier this summer. He was out on bond in that case when he was arrested on the new charges.
Crosby also has previous convictions for drug possession, sexual assault, and battery.
