High humidity levels subside soon!

Holy humidity…
It was a pretty warm day across the region on Saturday, with temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s. Humidity levels were incredibly high with dew points in the upper 60s and low 70s. We had a few showers in the region but they did not amount to much. More widespread and heavy rainfall is possible, especially across NE Iowa and SW Wisconsin. We’ll hold on to a slight chance here in La Crosse.

Cold Front Sweeps Through…
Highs on Sunday will be much cooler in the upper 60 and low 70s. You will notice a huge difference in the moisture content when you wake up tomorrow as this cold front will bring much drier air to the region. We do have a chance for scattered showers during the day on Sunday, so if you’re heading out to the Apple Fest parade, bring a rain jacket just in case.

Showers Possible Sunday

Nice Stretch of Weather…
The official first day of fall is on Monday morning at 2:50 AM. We will definitely be seeing a much more fall-like forecast. Temperatures generally this week will be in the 70s for afternoon highs. We should see some sunshine to start the work week!

Drier Air on the Way

Few Rain Chances…
We do have a couple of rain chances through the week, but generally they are looking fairly low as of now. After Sunday, Wednesday looks to have some ingredients for a few isolated t-storms. Then as we head into Oktoberfest we could see a few rounds of showers and t-storms. It is still VERY early!

Extended Outlook

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
