LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – The annual Historic Downtown Day 2019 provided an opportunity for people to explore the downtown area of the city and watch local performances.
La Crosse County Historical Society members reenacted moments from local figure’s lives, specifically a notable line of barbers, inside the La Crosse Center due to the cold and snowy weather.
On the Diamond Stage, a capella group “Special Export Quartet” performed a few of their classic cover songs.
“There’s such good activity going on downtown that we’re proud to be a part of,” singer Lee Rasch said. “It’s great to see where La Crosse is today and where it’s going. We’re just happy to be a part of it.”
After their indoor performance, the quartet took to the streets to sing a few more songs in Downtown La Crosse.
