Better weather will follow…

Warming trend begins…
Beautiful weather at the end of the work week brought hope for a nice weekend. Friday afternoon temperatures rose into the 60s, and temperatures will remain above average through the weekend.

Highs Friday were in the 60s-above average for the date.

Wetter weather for Saturday…
Though warmer weather will remain, an approaching front will push through this morning bringing showers into the area. The amounts will be on the order of a few tenths of an inch. but could certainly keep us indoors for a few hours. The rain will end by mid-afternoon.

Futurecast rainfall forecast shows about a quarter of an inch.

Brighter on Sunday…
Partly sunny skies then develop for Sunday, and highs will reach the lower to middle 60s. Average highs at this time of the year are in the upper 50s.

Rain likely Monday…
A moisture-laden storm system will bring showers and t-storms to start the week. Heavier rains are possible, so we will monitor. River levels are still above average, and we will have to see if those will be affected. Cooler weather returns next week, highs will fall to the upper 40s late in the week.
