La Crosse, WI (WXOW) – The Alliance to Heal held their monthly meeting on Thursday afternoon. At that meeting, a new recovery service was introduced.

The Adult & Teen Challenge of Western Wisconsin, a faith-based drug and alcohol residential recovery center, is coming to the Coulee Region. That facility will be located at 2507 Weston Street in La Crosse. There are currently 226 centers in the United States, and over 1,400 centers worldwide. The service in La Crosse will be open to women ages 18 and older who are struggling with addiction.

“We love to put a message of hope within reach. We believe that we have a message of hope that can actually help our clients find true freedom from their addiction. We are a bible-based Christian organization so we center everything around that,” said Kevin Schaler, the executive director of the Adult & Teen Challenge of Western Wisconsin.

The Adult & Teen Challenge will host on open house of Sunday, October 27 from 12 p.m until 4 p.m. The facility will open its doors on November 11.
