V-Hawks late rally falls short in opener

La Crosse, Wis. (WXOW) The Viterbo men’s basketball team opened their 2019-2020 season with a 74-73 loss at home to Mount Mercy.

Viterbo trailed by as many as 14 points in the second half only to rally late.

That rally coming up shorts despite 20 points and 11 rebounds from Tyree Young.

Noah Fredrickson chipped in 19 points for the V-Hawks.
