La Crosse, WI (WXOW) – Cold, wintry weather makes for a great excuse to stay inside with a good story. Local storytellers are celebrating that concept as part of a nationwide “Tellebration” event.
It’s the first such event for La Crosse, but they often take place around the world during November. La Crosse’s Tellebration will happen next Thursday, Nov. 14 at The Pump House.
Fittingly, the theme will be stories from around the world. Terry Visger said the Bluff Country Tale Spinners will be joined by Debra Morningstar, an Oneida storyteller, and Kay Weeden, a bi-lingual (Spanish) teller.
