Snow returns for Wednesday…

Sunny Tuesday…
High barometric pressure lead to plenty of sunshine for Tuesday, but even with southwesterly winds highs reached only into the upper teens to lower 20s.

Wednesday snow…
A frontal system will drive through the region on Wednesday. It will generate snow showers, but amounts are expected to be lower end. 1” to 2” are possible, and there are still questions on some of the details, so stay tuned for updates. Slippery roads are possible for the afternoon and evening.

Slow warming trend…
Milder air of Pacific origin will begin to move in as the jet stream re-orients by the weekend. Afternoon highs should return into the upper 30s to lower 40s for Saturday and Sunday. Medium range outlooks show more warming for next week.
