Out the door, temperatures are in the single digits with feel-like temperatures below zero. Although, winds are not as strong as yesterday, but clear skies allowed for the big drop. With the sunshine and calm winds today it will look like an improving day, but will still only have highs in the low 20s.
To round out the early winter snap, snow showers will become possible tomorrow. It’s a weak clipper system expected to bring a quick inch of snowfall, with localized areas up to 3 inches. The area could see snow as early as the morning commute, but trending to effect the afternoon. It could make for a slick evening commute, so make sure to slow down and watch out for plows.
Yet another high pressure will move in, but much weaker. It will still be a chilly end to the work week with clearing skies and highs only in the mid to upper 30s. Over the weekend the temperatures keep improving to the 40s, but with temperatures above freezing, the precipitation chances will be tricky. A wintry mix could be possible from time to time this weekend, more details to come by the end of the week.
