LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) –  It’s La Crosse’s ultimate girls night out. The event known as Diva Fest is coming up next week.

Hosted by Mid-West Family Broadcasting, the night consists of pampering treatments and pop up shops with the latest beauty and fashion trends.

Z93 Radio Host Brittany Styles described it as, “a night of shopping and sampling and pampering. So we have some local businesses that come together, in fact, we have almost 20 local businesses coming to Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center and they do a pop-up shop where women can go around and sample the products and do a little shopping and just enjoy themselves for a night.”

The night of fun benefits a good cause-the Norma J. Vinger Breast Center at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.

Styles said Divafest has donated $18,000 to the center. That money goes towards things like staff education and robes.

Deb Frye, Clinical Manager at the Gundersen Center for Breast Care, said “We’ve used the money for robes, some really nice spa-like robes because the patients have to walk room to room down a hallway. The last thing we wanted was for them to sit in a little flimsy gown and not feel very secure so we have these really nice thick spa-like robes that we give the ladies with our logo on them. They’re able to feel more comfortable, transition from the mammogram room to the ultrasound room or down the hallway.”

Diva Fest is Friday, November 22 from 5 to 10 p.m. at Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center. Tickets cost $15.
