LA CROSSE, WI. (WXOW) – Local rotary clubs joined forces for the third annual “Warm Feet, Warm Hearts” project by collecting 461 winter clothes and donating them to the La Crosse Warming Center.
The project aims to give people coats, hats and other warm clothing that they can wear outside when the warming center is closed.
“Rotarians have a shared mission and that is service above self,” La Crosse Rotary Club President-Elect Nominee Sarah Arendt-Beyer said. “We like to do what we can with what we have. We especially love helping those in our communities and this is an easy way for us to support our friends and neighbors.”
