La Crosse, WI (WXOW) “Report From the Border” is the title of a discussion that’s part of an ongoing program at English Lutheran Church in La Crosse.
The program is called Community Conversations. It’s designed as a theological, non-partisan discussion series about current social and economic issues affecting the community.
Pat Ruda and Sister Joan Weisenbeck traveled to Yuma and Tuscon, Arizona border crossings. They’ll share their experiences.
The conversation is in the fellowship hall from noon until 1, Wednesday, November 20. The church is located at 1509 King Street.
The discussion begins at noon and continues until 1:00 PM.
For a freewill offering, you can have lunch. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
