25 Nights of Rotary Lights: 2010

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

La Crosse, WI (WXOW) – We’re now less than 10 days from Rotary Lights 25th anniversary celebration.

On this Wednesday, we’re taking a look back at Rotary Lights 2010 when volunteers switched on the 2,550,000 lights.

2010 was the last year mostly traditional bulbs were used instead of LED lights. You may recall, a volunteer group from Friends of Luther checked each string to make sure the bulbs were working. That’s because one burnt out bulb could darken an entire string.

Be sure to join us in this final countdown. And share your Rotary Lights memories with us on our Facebook page.
