During the evening, after the commute, a low pressure system will eject out of the southwest. Showers will begin overnight and become widespread into your Thursday morning commute. Then a cold front to the north will slide in as the low pressure exits and could make for a messy end to the day. The cold front could cause for a bit of wintry mix as the precipitation ends and create slippery roads with dropping temperatures.
Into Friday morning temperatures will be in the low 20s and that means may of the wet surfaces with freeze. Ice melt will be needed on sidewalks and roads. you’ll need extra time to travel as well. Then highs will climb to above freezing with mostly sunny skies. The sunny skies and dry weather continues into the weekend with warming temperatures.
