Winter Farmer’s Market offers locally sourced soup

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – Mayo Clinic Health System brought a special squash soup to the Winter Farmer’s Market at Myrick Park.

It is a way to cook a healthy meal during the winter months and get a source of vitamins and fiber.

“They’ve got a great recipe and it goes along with the produce that you can buy here right at the market,” Winter Farmer’s Market Assistant Manager Laurie Cafe said. ” They are giving out samples and I tried some and it’s just delicious.”

The Winter Farmer’s Market is open every Sunday from 10 to 1 p.m. through December 22.
