La Crosse, Wis. - (WXOW) - A plea of not guilty was entered by the attorney for Curtis Green in a La Crosse County courtroom on Friday morning.

The 39-year-old Green is charged with several felonies surrounding an October shooting incident in West Salem.

According to the criminal complaint, four men left a Monroe County gentleman's club in the early hours of October 26. The men then stated they realized they were possibly being followed by a car. When their pickup truck got to West Salem, they pulled over in the 500 block of Brickl Road.

West Salem police say video surveillance shows a car pulling up and a shot being fired from out of the driver's side window. The car then drove off.

One man in the truck was struck and injured, shot through his right thigh.

Police later tracked the car to being owned by Green. A search of his residence also found a gun.

Green faces a litany of charges including felony reckless endangerment and injury with a weapon. As a convicted felon he also faces federal charges for possession of a gun.

He currently remains in the La Crosse County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond.
