No serious injuries in I-35 crash involving 6 semi trucks, 20 other vehicles

OWATONNA, Minn. (KTTC) - The Minnesota State Patrol has released more information about the crash involving 20 passenger vehicles and six jackknifed semis.

According to the State Patrol, at 9:20 a.m., the State Patrol responded to a vehicle in the center median at I-35 W and MP 41 Northbound. The State Patrol said that a second vehicle went into the center median while the trooper was assisting the vehicle.

"There were 20 passenger cars and six jackknifed semis involved in separate crashes that lead to the closing of I-35," The State Patrol said.

No serious injuries were reported, according to the State Patrol. I-35 W Northbound was reportedly reopened at about 12:35 p.m.

The investigation is ongoing for all crashes.
