LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - All across the country tonight pro-impeachment demonstrators scheduled rallies to urge support among the public.
The rally in La Crosse was announced yesterday at Cameron Park but anti impeachment groups decided to hold their own counter-rally.
The rally began at 5:30 p.m Tuesday with supporters encouraged to bring noisemakers, signs, and flashlights.
As the two groups jockeyed for position some of the pro impeachment group got tangled up with a giant Trump flag and wound up on the ground.
There were no punches thrown and soon cooler heads prevailed and the two sides separated and continued on with their demonstration.
