LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - Pull up a chair to the dinner party where everything goes awry when La Crosse Community Theatre presents "Don't Dress for Dinner." The fast-paced farce runs Jan. 24 - Feb. 2 at The Weber Center.
What starts as an "innocent" bachelor dinner quickly spirals out of control for Bernard (Colin Thelen) and Robert (Jake Leis). Mistresses, mistaken identities and a savvy chef (Stacy Bruemmer) create chaos in the kitchen and every other room of the otherwise peaceful French country setting.
A loosely-based sequel to "Boeing Boeing," the show promises plenty of laughter from both the banter and physical comedy. Directed by Liz Golson, "Don't Dress for Dinner" is written by Marc Camoletti and adapted into English by Robin Hawdon.
Performances begin Friday, Jan. 24 in the Lyche Theater at The Weber Center. Evening performances are Thursdays - Saturdays at 7:30 pm with Sunday matinees at 2 pm.
