WINONA, Minn. (WXOW) - In the midst of movie awards season, documentary film fans can feast when the 15th Frozen River Film Festival returns to Winona February 5-9.

With more than 80 documentaries planned for this year, the festival boasts films for every taste. Executive Director Sara Enzenauer said with discussions to follow many of the sessions, people can use the movies to connect with others who have similar interests.

The festival aims to showcase diverse perspectives with a special focus on enviornmental issues, sustainable communities, different cultures, adventure travel and sports.
