LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - From soda to breadsticks, and even toilet paper, the state of Wisconsin has proved it wants Kwik Trip delivered at home.

According to its delivery partner, EatStreet, over 38,000 items were ordered throughout the state during the first six months of the service. La Crosse was unique in the sense that it ordered more ice cream than any other city.

It's not just cravings the delivery service is satisfying, many are beginning to use the service for other purposes.

West Ave. Kwik Trip in La Crosse Store Leader Evan Wurtzel says that they've seen a recent switch. "We started off with a lot of Karuba Gold drinks and Hot Spot Items and then people got more comfortable and now they're doing all of their grocery shopping," said Wurtzel. "Now there are even orders that we will get with steak, eggs, butter, milk, heads of lettuce, as well as hot spot items. It's pretty incredible."

Of course, being America's Dairyland, the most ordered item across every city was the cheese-filled breadsticks. The service delivered over 1,500 "buddies" of soda, 350 bananas, and over 700 chicken sandwiches. On top of that, some things like general medicine and even duct tape were ordered.

Eatstreet and Kwik Trip currently offer delivery from select stores in Madison, La Crosse, Janesville, Eau Claire, Wausau, Appleton, Green Bay, Sheboygan, Fond du Lac, and Oshkosh.
