LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - As businesses deal with the COVID-19 outbreak, a number of them are changing the hours that they're open to the public.

Two of them are Festival Foods and Menards. Both cite the need to keep their respective stores clean for customers as the reason behind the move.

The grocery chain said Thursday afternoon the majority of their stores would operate between 5 am and 9 pm.

Stores in Baraboo, Paddock Lake, Portage, Madison, Mauston, and Fort Atkinson will open at 6 am.

Menards, which has more than 300 stores in several states, will open at 6 am and close at 8 pm Monday through Saturday. On Sundays, they're open from 8 am to 7 pm.

Meanwhile, Wisconsin-based Kohls department stores said they're closing all of its locations nationwide.

The 1,100-plus stores in 49 states will stay closed until at least April 1.

Shoppers can still purchase online and choose home delivery.
