LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - There are still so many questions without answers about the new coronavirus causing a worldwide pandemic. As of Monday morning, La Crosse County reported five cases and concern over community spread.

COVID-19 has stricken thousands across the globe but usually presents only mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough. For older adults and people with other health problems, it can cause complications or sometimes death. Most people recover.

Gundersen Health System infection control specialist Megan Meller once again took time out of her busy schedule to answer some of the questions you posed on Facebook. Meller has a masters degree in microbiology and a masters in public health.
