City of La Crosse now providing video updates on COVID-19 response

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - La Crosse city officials have announced they will now provide regular video updates to the public.

The first, featuring Fire Chief Ken Gilliam, Police Chief Shawn Kudron and Mayor Tim Kabat, outlined, among other things, how the city is preparing for the spring election.

"Our big issue right now is we are working very hard to make sure that there is a fair, accessible and safe election. In-person absentee voting is happening with limited hours at city hall," said Mayor Kabat.

But, the mayor is encouraging everyone to request an absentee ballot through the mail, if possible. You can get information on how to do that by clicking here.

If you have questions about city services you're being asked to call the city’s COVID-19 phone line at 608-789-CITY.
