Hometown Conversations: Pride celebrations then and now

La Crosse, Wis (WXOW) - Many Pride Month celebrations have been put on hold this year because of concerns over COVID-19. This year's Pride is that much more special, as it's the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. Stonewall was a revolutionary uprising that paved the way for LGBTQ+ rights today.
In our most recent installment of Hometown Conversations, Daybreak Anchors Dustin Luecke and Candace Price sat down with two pillars for LGBTQ+ rights in the La Crosse community. They discussed how far the movement has come, and where it is today.
