Sun & showers…
Friday through Sunday will NOT lack any sunshine! The Upper Midwest will be dominated by a practically stationary high-pressure system. Yet, there could still be a few short waves/daytime heating that may allow for a few showers each day. But most will walk away from the weekend stay dry until Sunday night.
Temperatures are not going to take a break from soaring each day. Highs from today through early next week will touch the 90s. This could make it a 7-day streak and that hasn’t happened since August of 2018!
If you are planning to get outdoors and celebrate for the holiday, make sure to have plenty of sunscreen and water. The humidity will continue to run high nearing the 70s. This can dehydrate you very quickly in the sunshine. So stay safe but have fun!
