LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - Crews are working to complete repairs to 4th Street. That project began June 23.
It began as work to remove and replace a collapsing sanitary sewer manhole at 4th and King.
They originally scheduled completion for June 26.
But Wastewater Utility General Superintendent Jarred Greeno says once they began, they discovered additional damage.
Crews are now completing that work and pouring curb and gutter. They hope to begin paving the road Friday, July 10. They're scheduled to reopen the road the following Monday or Tuesday.
