LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - A local bike stop is using some creativity to give back to the community.

Wrench and Roll Collective Bike Shop on La Crosse's north side is helping out small businesses in the area with a gumball fundraiser. With a $10 donation, people can twist for a gumball. Depending on what color gumball comes out, people have the chance to win prizes that include a new bike, t-shirts, a free bicycle tune up and a pack of beer from Pearl Street Brewery.

"We are hoping lots of people come away a winner. I'm not sure of the exact odds, but everybody is a winner because all of the proceeds goes right here in our community to help other local businesses that are struggling," said Wrench and Roll Collective Bike Shop owner Matthew Christen.

The proceeds support the Sprout Local Business Assistance Fund. The fundraiser runs from Thursday, July 9 through Saturday, July 11.
