How you can still get a taste of the Wisconsin State Fair

MADISON (WKOW) -- Getting a taste of Wisconsin from the State Fair is different this year because of the pandemic.

Instead of a crowded pavilion with samples of Door County Cherries, Pure Wisconsin Maple Syrup and Sherwood's Fabulous Fudge-- a box has been created and can be shipped right to your door.

The 73rd Alice in Dairyland, Wisconsin's agriculture ambassador, said this is a chance to experience some of the Badger State's best.

"When you purchase Wisconsin products, you are supporting Wisconsin communities and Wisconsin farmers," said Julia Nunes. "There's a lot of agricultural products in there as well."

While all major fair events are canceled, there's still a Fair Food Drive Thru happening until Aug. 16.

Cream puffs are also being delivered to Festival Foods in Verona.
