WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- President Donald Trump issued a strong denunciation of violence in a video released on the White House's Twitter account Wednesday.
"Mob violence goes against everything I believe in and everything our movement stands for," Trump said. "No true supporter of mine could ever endorse political violence."
The president went on to also say his supporters would not disrespect law enforcement or the flag.
"If you do any of these things, you are not supporting our movement, you are attacking it," he said.
Trump also said that he had directed federal agencies "to use all necessary resources to maintain order in Washington, D.C." over the next week."
