Both above and below average temperatures

Cold and Light Snow
Highs on Monday reached the mid to upper 20s for most in the Coulee Region. We ended up with 28 degrees in La Crosse which is near average for this time of year. It's going to get cold tonight, we are expecting lows to drop to the teens for most under a partly to mostly cloudy sky. At least it won't be very windy so wind chills will stay close to actual temperatures. We have a slight chance for some light snow mainly after midnight into Tuesday morning. If you do see any light snow, accumulations would be minor (dusting). The best chance for light snow is west of the Mississippi River.
Up and Down
We have a cold Monday night, Monday and Tuesday night on tap. Teens for Monday night, near 20 for Tuesday and single digits for Tuesday night. As we head into Wednesday we are expecting a nice thaw with highs back into the 30s. That will stick around for Thursday as well. We will likely see intervals of clouds and sunshine for those warmer days. A dramatic cold front knocks our HIGHS to the teens on Friday and low 20s for Saturday. We are looking at a chance for a bit of snow for Sunday and Monday, but we still need to iron out those details.
Have a good night,
