No charge called as bat rushes cameraman during WIAA game
LA CROSSE (WKOW) — You may have seen the best plays, but you might not have seen the most unusual highlight of the 2021 WIAA Girls State Basketball Tournament.
A bat somehow got inside the gym at the La Crosse Center as Notre Dame and Onalaska were facing off Saturday morning in the Division 2 semifinal game.
The bat was flying around and at one point headed straight for a photographer who was filming the game.
Eventually, staff captured the bat and the game resumed.
