Green Bay, Wis. (WXOW) Blair-Taylor's fourth straight trip to the WIAA State Softball Tournament ends with a semifinal loss to Juda/Albany, 7-5.

Juda/Albany opened the scoring with four runs in the top of the 4th inning only to see Blair-Taylor bounce back with two in the bottom half.

The Juda/Albany took a 6-2 in the 5th when the Wildcats rallied for two in their half to cut the lead to 6-4.

Blair-Taylor had won three straight playoff games by one run but this time they could not overcome Juda/Albany.

The Wildcats were led by Chloe Wagner, who had two hits and two runs scored.

Abby Thompson also chipped in two hits.

"No one expected us to have a season like this when you graduate the senior group we just had and coming back with, like eight and a half starters because my rightfielder only played defense before. Being young, and doing this and beiing bumped up to D4, being one of the smaller schools in D4, to have the kind of season we had and battle through. We took out some good teams and we have nothing to be ashamed of," said head coach Greg Bratina.

Blair-Taylor ends it's season with a 28-1 record.
