March Jefferson Award Winner: Virginia Wintersteen, M.D.

She is a “tireless advocate” for people who have physical challenges.  

Doctor Virginia Wintersteen is an orthopedist at Gundersen Health System.  Beyond that work, she has volunteered for years to provide opportunities for children and adults with disabilities.  Opportunities that did not always exist.
