Tools For Schools awards latest winner

SAINT JOSEPH, Wisconsin (WXOW) – A Saint Joseph preschool gained some new technology to help teach early childhood literacy skills.

Natalie Vanish received 500-dollars as part of the Tools for Schools award from WXOW, Brenengen Auto, and SSE Music. Vanish will use the award toward the purchase of an I-pad to replace the obsolete classroom desktop computer that is currently used for read-along stories.

Vanish said, “I am so excited just to have that ipad in my classroom and for the kids to actually manipulate and play those games, while they're also learning their sounds and letter identification skills.”

WXOW, SSE Music, and Brenengen Auto help one deserving teacher or class each month.
