September’s Jefferson Award Winner – Lorin “Louie” Wuensch

He used to work in sales and Louie Wuensch enjoyed his job.  But he just did not want to spend one more winter on the road.  So, he retired.

He wanted to give something back, so he turned to volunteering.  For his efforts, the La Crosse resident is September’s Jefferson Award winner.  Photographers Jimmy Kruckow and Garrett Soper have the story along with reporter Dave Solie.
