Holmen man represents area at national Jefferson Awards ceremonies

A Holmen man is honored at the national level for his community service efforts. 

Bob Milisch represented the La Crosse area at the 2015 Jefferson Awards National Ceremony in Washington, D.C. this week.

Milisch joined similar honorees from across the country in Washington at ceremonies on Wednesday and a gala dinner Thursday night. Among the featured speakers Thursday was Supreme Court Justice Sonya Sotomayor.

While in Washington, Milisch had the chance to speak about his public service. He humbly spoke about his efforts and shared his thoughts on the work of the other recipients.
