June Jefferson Award Winner: Gail Zahn

She’s received honors before.  Just three years ago, Gail Zahn celebrated her own day in La Crosse, thanks to then Mayor Matt Harter.  Now, Gail has been recognized with a Jefferson Award for her work with members of the Warriors Baton and Drum Corps, an organization of which she was a part for 50 years.

You can see Gail’s story from photographer Jimmy Kruckow and reporter Dave Solie.

Each month, we select a community member for the Jefferson Award.  To continue, we need your nominations.  If you know someone who goes above and beyond to make the La Crosse community an even better place to live, nominate them on this website.  Click on the home tab then select Jefferson Awards.
