Jefferson Award winners honored at special event

Every month, News 19 recognizes volunteers in the community with a Jefferson Award for Public Service.

Thursday night, we honored the past year’s worth of recipients with a special ceremony and dinner to thank them for their contributions to making our area a better place.

Among the highlights, telling the story of each of our winners of the last 12 months.

The event also awarded one of our winners, Pat Stephens, who was selected to represent our area at the national Jefferson Awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. in June.

We’ll also thank our winners once again with a half hour program airing on WXOW on Monday, April 25, at 6:30 p.m.
